Welcome to Rainbow Bridge Cat Sanctuary We are a Small charity founded 19 years ago in Blackpool Lancashire Our Address for visitors by Appointment is 43 Grosvenor St Blackpool FY1 3EX . . We look after 34 Cats who all have a a story to tell of their Tragic Past Lives, like Scooter who was shoved into my arms one Christmas Eve before Midnight Mass. Tired Hungry with eyes glued together Scooter has a face that only a mother could love. She has been with us 10 years and despite much effort no one has come to give her a family for life. They all come from different situations but we struggle on our Pension to Care,Feed and Medicate all. Some has to be hand fed as they do not eat any wet or dry cat food. We have not had a holiday for 12 years but we soldier on. We never refuse Donations of Money, Vouchers, Food Wet or Dry or Old Newspapers Any good usable Clothes are donated to Tender Paws another wonderful Cat Charity with their own lovely Shop in Blackpool Please email me or give us a Call if you would like more information or see Facebook Thanks Fr Anthony

We are a Small Charity which began 18 years ago

when we took in some baby cats left behind in a bedsitter.

Word got around and the abandoned or lost cats arrived

our dream of opening a Catholic Retreat Centre went up in smoke.

We are both now Pensioners and with 35 cats who have the freedom of

our Sanctuary apart from the Oratory of The Holy Spirit

We try and find homes for them but we need to

insure that the prospective homes /landlords give permission

our dream of a settled Home with a Garden remain the ideal but

it is difficult to home black cats, elderly cats

and those who need medication on a daily basis

We have 3 cats who cannot eat ordinary

cat food dry or wet and must be hand fed with chicken or ham or fish.

We lost our Vet support after 18 years from a charity that has now Closed

To give you an example it takes 6 large tins of cat food

and a further 2 for outside cats per day
